French beauty clinic seizes lower rent opportunity to expand in Hong Kong
French beauty clinic, EstheClinic, announced today (24 June 2021) that it has opened its second branch in Hong Kong taking the advantage of affordable rents during the pandemic period to expand in the city.
The new branch is located in the vibrant heart of Hong Kong’s Western district, Sai Ying Pun. It occupies 1,200 square-foot space consisting of three spacious treatment rooms and one dedicated consultation room. It offers a wide range of aesthetic beauty services, from permanent hair removal to anti-ageing, skin rejuvenation to cellulite removal, using its French patented and medical-grade technology.
Managing Director of EstheClinic Hong Kong, Ms Solène Verrot, said that it is the right time for the company to expand in Hong Kong as the retail rent in the city has gone down a lot with more bargaining power for negotiating rents. Also with the success of its flagship shop in Central, the company decided to expand in Sai Ying Pun which is an up-and-coming district with new residential buildings and eateries, where her company can target locals and expats in the district.
She said, “We are proud to be opening our second branch in Hong Kong less than two years after the launch of our first outlet and despite the unprecedented events last year. Together with our flagship EstheClinic Central branch, we can now offer the unique and efficacious EstheClinic experience and aesthetic treatments to a wider array of clientele who are looking for non-invasive, pain-free and time-efficient ways of looking their best.”
Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Charles Ng, said, “We are glad to see the expansion of EstheClinic in Hong Kong. It demonstrated not only a vote of confidence in Hong Kong’s beauty industry, but also how a company seizes the opportunity during pandemic to expand in the city. We wish it every success in Hong Kong and beyond.”
