kapok brings in iconic Swiss furniture Vitra

Lifestyle and homeware brand kapok opened a new flagship store in Tsim Sha Tsui today (8 July 2021) bringing a selection of innovative homeware products and concepts from Swiss-based design furniture brand Vitra to the city.

The new store is located at a cultural-retail shopping centre alongside Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui. It marks the first Vitra flagship in Hong Kong with a collection of cosy furniture ranging from chairs to accent pieces including stylish interior decorations.

kapok founder, Mr Arnault Castel, said that after 15 successful years in Hong Kong, kapok decided to expand business in the city, and Vitra is just a perfect match of kapok’s retail philosophy of ‘exploring newness with a passion for discovery’. Vitra has some of the most functional and stylish furniture that can instantly bring life to any home.

Mr Castel observes, “Hong Kong consumers are spending more time and effort decorating and making their home more cosy. In this connection, we foresee growing demand for home accessories and furniture.”

We believe it’s time to finally open a Vitra store operated by kapok.” He said that apart from Vitra, kapok also plans to bring more high-end brands to the city and expand their store network using Hong Kong as the group’s global headquarters.
