Korean makeup artist brand JSM Beauty expands in Hong Kong

Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) announced that Korean makeup artist brand JSM Beauty opened its second store in a shopping hotspot in Mongkok today (22 October 2024), just a few months after its first store landed in a luxury department store in Causeway Bay in July this year, as part of its global expansion.

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Dr Jimmy Chiang, said, “Hong Kong people love Korean pop culture and there is a strong Korean community in the city. More and more Korean companies, like JSM Beauty, have shown interest in setting up or expanding their business in the city. We look forward to supporting them and wish them every success in Hong Kong."

Country Managing Director of JSM Beauty, Ms YY Rim, said, “Our brand is expanding globally. Hong Kong as an international business hub is considered as the most important place for our brand’s expansion. It serves as an excellent bridgehead to cover the entire Asian market. We plan to open approximately 10 more stores in the city over the next few years.”

She added, “Apart from the physical stores, we also have our dedicated online shop and aim to expand our online business by listing our products on other online platforms. Our Hong Kong office oversees business operations in both Hong Kong and Macau. It manages all aspects of offline and online business, as well as marketing activities in these places.”

Launched in 2015 by a top Korean makeup artist Jung Saem Mool, JSM Beauty offers a wide range of skincare, base makeup, colour makeup, and accessories, all inspired by over 30 years of her beauty industry experience.
