Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles expands in Hong Kong
Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) announced today (12 June 2024) that its Mainland client, Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles, is planning to open six more stores in the city in the next year, reaching nearly ten stores in total.

The Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Dr. Jimmy Chiang, said “We are happy to see Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles’ expansion in Hong Kong. It shows not only their confidence in the city’s vibrant food and beverage industry, but also reinforces Hong Kong’s status as the culinary capital in Asia.”
Established in 2015, Liukoushui Chongqing Noodles has more than 200 stores in the Mainland with overseas outlets across the US, Spain, France, the UK, Philippines, etc. It has opened three stores in Tai Wai, Tsim Sha Tsui and Central since its establishment in Hong Kong in 2023 and is planning to open more stores in Wanchai, Kai Tak and Whampoa, etc, according to the Overseas Operations Director of Liukoushui, Mr Zhao Pinhai.
He said, “Hong Kong as an international city has a large population with diverse customer preferences. It provides us new customer base and business opportunities to expand in the city. We hope to further raise our brand awareness and let more local customers as well as visitors from around the world to enjoy our Chongqing noodles by opening more outlets here.”
“Hong Kong has a sophisticated media and information network, in which we can quickly and efficiently promote our brand and signature dishes to customers in Hong Kong and across other markets in the region. In addition, the city has a well-established intellectual property protection. It gives us confidence in protecting our brand and new dish ideas for a healthy and sustainable business development,” he added.
