Renowned Mainland Chongqing-style hot pot brand Chaotianmen debuts in Hong Kong
Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) announced today (April 30) that its Mainland client Chaotianmen Hot Pot, has opened its first store at Lan Kwai Fong in Central, bringing authentic Chongqing-style hot pot to local customers.

Established in 1935, Chaotianmen Hot Pot has a rich history in Chongqing and is recognised as an intangible cultural heritage in the city. It is one of China’s top ten hot pot brands and has over 1,000 stores around the world, including Germany, France, UK, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Japan, Dubai and Thailand.
The Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Dr Jimmy Chiang, welcomed the opening of Chaotianmen Hot Pot in Hong Kong. He said “It provides more choices of hot pot restaurants to consumers in Hong Kong. I wish it every success in its business in Hong Kong and beyond.”
The Chairman of Chongqing Chaotianmen Catering Holding Group Co Ltd, Mr Wang Pu, said, “Hong Kong as an international city has a friendly business environment with deep pool of talent and world class business and professional services. It is the ideal place for us to expand our business globally.”
