Raffles Family Office opens new and expanded global headquarters and single-family office incubator in Hong Kong

Raffles Family Office (RFO), a pan-Asian multi-family office, has relocated its headquarters to larger premises in Central today (5 August 2021) to support its business growth and the rollout of its Raffles Ecosystem incubator for single-family offices (SFOs).

The incubator is aimed at helping SFOs from within Asia and beyond expand their capabilities and reach by providing them with private office spaces situated adjacent to RFO’s headquarters, from which they can access the company’s suite of specialist advisory services and regional office network.

The new headquarters, which measures over 17,000 square feet in size, will also help accommodate RFO’s rapid business growth with its extensive accommodations that include 160 workspaces, seven meeting rooms, and numerous collaboration zones.

“Our increased presence in Hong Kong is a testament to the success of our business model, which remains firmly grounded in providing ultra-high net worth families with truly independent and highly bespoke wealth management and governance services,” said RFO Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Mr. Kwan Chi-man. “The concurrent launch of our inaugural Raffles Ecosystem hub is an especially proud achievement for us,” he added. “I firmly believe that the facility and others like it will play a key role in accelerating the development of the family office industry in Hong Kong and Asia more broadly.”

Today also marks the opening of Raffles Family Office’s first Beijing office, which Kwan points to as another promising sign for the industry. “Our Beijing branch, together with our larger footprint in Hong Kong, and offices in Taipei and Shanghai showcases the enormous potential for the industry in the Greater China in particular,” he said. Kwan added that the company plans to increase its headcount across its Asia offices, which also includes a branch in Singapore, to 350.

Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Stephen Phillips, congratulated Raffles Family Office on the opening of its new headquarters. “InvestHK has recently set up a dedicated family office team working with colleagues across government, the regulators and of course the industry to further advance Hong Kong’s role as a global family office centre,” he said. “We look forward to working closely with Raffles Family Office to enhance the family offices ecosystem in Hong Kong.”
