The Chartered Association of Building Engineers Hong Kong Chapter

The Chartered Association of Building Engineers Hong Kong Chapter (CABE HK) was established in early 2020 to support, and ensure, the proper governance and operations of CABE Chapters in the Asia-Pacific region. This will include the monitoring and reporting of compliance against the CABE Competency Framework. The new office will raise the profile e of CABE and its members within the region, through representation with local government authorities, other local professional bodies and with the industry. By supporting its members, CABE HK will be able to raise standards and influence decisions throughout the global construction industry.

CABE HK now provides front-of-office functions for CABE headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region. For example, membership recruitment, upgrades and renewals, organising CABE membership and Chartered Engineer professional interviews locally, liaising with local academic partners, communications to members on behalf of the international chapters, disciplinary matters and the promotion of the benevolent fund.

CABE HK will also be delivering quality local activities, including regular committee meetings for each chapter, regular CPD sessions to members, annual Chapter AGM’s, conferences, and formal events.
