Mainland Hui Jia Xiang restaurant establishes foothold in Hong Kong
Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) announced today (26 June 2024) that its Mainland client, Fooshion Hunan Global International Holdings Company Limited, has opened its first Hui Jia Xiang restaurant in Sai Ying Pun bringing authentic Hunan cuisine to local customers.

Established in 1999, Hui Jia Xiang is one of the most influential new-style Hunan cuisine brands in Guangdong. It is committed to promoting and reinventing Hunan cuisine and has more than 50 chain stores in the Mainland. The Chairman of Fooshion Hunan Global International Holdings Company Limited, Ms Huang Haiying, said that she hopes to offer high quality Hunan cuisine to a wider range of diners, to let them understand Hunan culture via the Hong Kong restaurant.
She said, “Hui Jia Xiang has been committed to spreading and promoting Hunan cuisine for 25 years. We are keen on improving and innovating our dishes in order to bring high-quality, healthy, authentic and exquisite contemporary Hunan cuisine to customers in Hong Kong. We already have plans to open three to five restaurants here this year, and hope to expand into the Southeast Asian market via the city.”
She added, “I came to Hong Kong through the Top Talent Pass Scheme. I hope to make contribution to the city by using my knowledge in Hunan cuisine to start a new business in Hong Kong.”
